eShare shortlisted for prestigious SaaS award

2018 SaaS awards

We work very hard at eShare to deliver and maintain products of the highest quality, listening to customer feedback and incorporating those needs and requests into each iteration of a product. So it makes it all the more rewarding when our products are recognised by others as being innovative and impactful at a global level.

We have been announced as a finalist in the 2018 SaaS Awards Program in the category ‘Best SaaS Product for Non-Profits or Education’. The Software as a Service Awards program aims to represent software innovation and diversity and is now in its third year of recognising and celebrating innovation in software, with nominees selected from all over the world.

Working with NFPs and higher education

There are a number of categories in the 2018 program including ‘Best Data-Driven SaaS Product’, ‘SaaS security’, and ‘Best Enterprise-Level SaaS Product’. Although BoardPacks is a product that is used by organisations in different sectors all over the world, it is still gratifying to be acknowledged for the impact that we have had in the education and not-for-profit (NFP) sectors.

BoardPacks has proved to be an effective tool for higher education establishments and those in the third sector, helping to reduce use of paper, improve governance and make board meetings smarter. It is used by some of the best universities in the world, such as University of Exeter, and is also deployed by many NFPs such as YMCA and Age UK.

We are in a tough category with some excellent companies in, but we can be rightfully proud of all the work it took to belong in such company:

SaaS Awards organiser Larry Johnson commented on eShare’s shortlisting:

“In our third year promoting SaaS we have seen a huge variety of submissions from the US joining those from Canada, Europe, Australia and the East – from organisations whose turnovers rank the highest in the world, to innovative not-for-profits seeking to provide essential productivity tools to their users.”

“All entrants demonstrated considerable commitment to innovation in software solutions, and to make the shortlist itself is a huge achievement. With such a concentrated level of success in the shortlist, our judges have a significant task ahead of them to arrive at our final award winners.”

Previous winners in the SaaS awards and its sister program the Cloud Awards include Dell, HP, veeva, TalkTalk Business and Zendesk, some of the biggest and most ground-breaking technology firms in the world, which sends a clear message as to the type of company eShare aspires to keep.

The final SaaS Awards winners will be announced on Tuesday 28 August 2018. Fingers crossed for an eShare win and we will let you know how we get on, either way.
